Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineering Lead, the Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering engineering projects within allotted timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate project setup after award and estimate handoff, ensuring project team, budget, and documentation are ready for effective kickoff.
  • Maintain project reporting to clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating clear communication among the client, project team, and stakeholders through project meetings such as kick-offs, updates, change orders, recovery plans, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure timely processing of accounts receivable and payable invoices to support cash flow and project payment.
  • Manage project expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets and aligning man-hour forecasts.
  • Communicate change order requests to clients and manage associated budget adjustments.
  • Maintain constant awareness of quality and acceptance criteria for all projects assigned.
  • Identify staffing needs including specialty consultants and subcontractors, setting clear expectations for project team members to guarantee successful delivery.
  • Oversee project closeout procedures and conduct reviews to highlight improvement areas and provide recommendations.
