Project Engineer - High-Rise Construction

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer specializing in high-rise building construction to join our Dubai-based team. This role involves overseeing construction activities on-site and ensuring successful completion of projects that meet safety, quality, schedule, and budgetary requirements.

Key Duties

• Oversee and manage daily construction operations for high-rise building projects.
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and various project stakeholders.
• Review project documentation including drawings, specifications, and method statements prior to implementation.
• Track project progress diligently to maintain alignment with established schedules.
• Compile and submit progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ensure all construction practices adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Coordinate logistics regarding materials delivery and allocation of resources efficiently.
• Participate actively in project meetings to address technical challenges and site-related issues.
• Inspect and validate the quality of subcontractor work.
• Assist in project planning activities, budget control, and ensure projects are handed over in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8 years working experience as a Project Engineer focused on high-rise construction projects within the UAE.
• Comprehensive understanding of structural engineering, architectural components, and finishing works.
• Proven background in interacting and coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, and familiar with project management software.
• Strong leadership abilities, communication skills, and adept problem-solving capabilities.
• Holding a UAE driving license is considered beneficial.
