Job description
Job Overview
As a Project Control Manager at Seatrium, you will be responsible for orchestrating the development, review, and continuous updating of project schedules specifically aligned with the master project timeline. Your role includes constructing a comprehensive work-breakdown structure and collaborating closely with Project Managers to manage project costs and schedules efficiently. This helps ensure seamless project delivery from design through to closeout phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage project scheduling processes to guarantee accuracy and alignment with overall project goals.
- Develop and implement a detailed work-breakdown structure (WBS).
- Partner with Project Managers to oversee project cost controls and scheduling activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Participate in regular meetings, compiling and sharing succinct reports that highlight vital project data and assist critical decision-making.
- Monitor project progress through weekly and monthly reports including KPIs, analyzing actuals and forecast figures and addressing variances.
- Oversee planning, cost estimation, progress tracking, risk evaluation, and reporting functions within projects.
- Lead and coordinate monthly performance review meetings.
- Recognize and implement improvements aimed at enhancing project planning systems and outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in any engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of substantial experience as a Project Control Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
Work Location & Hours
Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd., Tuas Boulevard Yard, 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051.
(Transport across the island is provided.)
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:15 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
