Program Manager

Role Overview

At Google, the Program Manager plays a critical role in orchestrating complex projects that span multiple teams and geographies to deliver solutions that impact users worldwide. This position requires the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, handle escalations, and spearhead initiatives that improve operational efficiency, particularly within cloud operations and customer-facing scenarios.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for urgent escalations from start through to resolution.
• Analyze system processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and quantify the benefits of proposed improvements to enhance workflows.
• Ensure all escalation channels and team efforts maintain high performance by tracking, investigating, and resolving issues effectively.
• Collaborate with departments such as compliance, finance, payroll, and regional strategy teams to streamline case resolution times and enhance procedural efficiency.
• Build and sustain professional relationships across all relevant stakeholders and external vendor partners through clear and influential communication.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum of three years in customer-centric roles involving technical implementation, stakeholder collaboration, or transformation program management.
• Hands-on experience supporting cloud operations, including tasks like product launch planning, capacity management, technical support, escalation handling, or IT consulting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four or more years in sales operations, management consulting, finance, or program management roles, complemented by a Bachelor's degree.
• Expertise in driving strategic initiatives and familiarity with sales enablement platforms, specifically emphasizing AI solution adoption to optimize workflows and alleviate operational challenges.
• Proven strengths in project and stakeholder management with a track record of partnering successfully with external entities to scale operations.
• Strong competence in SQL and data analytics to detect and address complex data integrity issues effectively.
