Professional Head – Infrastructure Maintenance

Overview

The Professional Head of Infrastructure Maintenance is responsible for providing visionary leadership and technical oversight to the company's entire infrastructure maintenance department. This includes managing the upkeep of critical assets such as railway tracks, civil engineering structures, signaling systems, power, and telecommunications components. The position ensures all maintenance practices align with safety, reliability, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent acts as the authoritative technical leader for infrastructure maintenance by defining engineering standards, establishing maintenance strategies, and designing inspection protocols. They build and enhance organizational capabilities to support crucial stages such as Operational Readiness, Testing & Commissioning, and the smooth transition to commercial operation.

Leading a multidisciplinary team, the role also guarantees adherence to regulatory and safety mandates and delivers the necessary engineering assurance required for the Company's Operations Safety Case.

Before commercial operations commence, the focus lies heavily on preparing the infrastructure maintenance segment according to the Operational Readiness Plan.
