Position Summary

The Production Manager will supervise precision component manufacturing operations at the Devanahalli facility. The role demands extensive technical knowledge of advanced machining and hands-on experience managing key equipment such as VMC, CNC Turning, Turnmill, 5th Axis, VTL, Double Column, Wirecut, and Grinding machines. The manager will ensure efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules aligned with client demands and organizational objectives.
• Oversee machine operations to optimize performance and utilization of specified advanced machinery.
• Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards including ISO/AS9100 protocols.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team to enhance skills and accountability.
• Implement continuous process improvements to boost productivity and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and supply chain units to ensure efficient production workflow.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and update senior management on production performance.

Required Expertise and Qualifications

• Practical experience in operating and supervising machinery like VMC, CNC Turning, Turnmill, 5th Axis, VTL, Double Column, Wirecut, and Grinding.
• Deep understanding of precision aerospace machining processes.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and process enhancement strategies.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Proven leadership skills managing teams in a precision manufacturing setup.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines.
• At least 8 to 12 years of experience in precision component manufacturing, including 3 to 5 years in managerial roles.
• Experience with aerospace industry certifications and standards is advantageous.
