Product Manager, E-Invoicing

About the Role

Paradigm Operations LP-AL is seeking a Product Manager specialized in e-invoicing, based in Dublin, Ireland. This position involves leading the development of Stripe's e-invoicing infrastructure, a pivotal solution for businesses managing compliance with evolving Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) and electronic invoicing mandates across multiple regions including Europe and Latin America.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the e-invoicing product, translating complex regulatory frameworks into actionable deliverables.
• Lead market expansion efforts covering mandated regions such as France, Germany, Spain, Poland, and Latin America, prioritizing initiatives in line with enforcement timelines.
• Make informed build, buy, or partnership decisions to achieve compliance and sustain product quality.
• Design and manage the end-to-end user experience encompassing onboarding and real-time invoice transmission via certified channels like Peppol.
• Collaborate closely with teams across Billing, Invoicing, Tax, and Connect to integrate e-invoicing natively into Stripe’s financial infrastructure.
• Establish and track key metrics for quality, reliability, and user activation to drive ongoing enhancements.
• Coordinate with Go-to-Market, Sales, and Solutions Engineering teams to position Stripe as the premier e-invoicing solution for enterprise customers.
• Serve as a credible representative with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and industry partners to cultivate essential relationships.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum five years in product management, including at least two years focusing on B2B fintech, payments, tax compliance, or related domains.
• Extensive knowledge of e-invoicing standards, including CTC, Factur-X, XRechnung, and PEPPOL BIS, and awareness of evolving regulatory mandates in targeted markets.
• Strong technical acumen to engage effectively with engineering teams on APIs, data structures, and network architectures.
• Proven capability to execute detailed build/buy/partner analyses and integrate outcomes into product roadmaps.
• Successful experience managing product launches across multiple regions, addressing localization and compliance challenges.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills enabling collaboration across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and GTM teams without direct authority.
• Outstanding communication skills to clearly explain complex compliance topics to both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Preferred Experience

• History integrating third-party technologies or acquisitions within core product platforms.
• Familiarity with Stripe’s Billing, Invoicing, or Tax product suites.
• Experience with Peppol access point certification or direct integration with national tax portals like Chorus Pro or KSeF.
• Insight into B2B invoicing workflows within mid-market or enterprise companies.
