ملازمت کی تفصیل

Role overview

Based in Manchester, this is a permanent full-time opportunity for a Product Designer to help shape new product ideas before they move into scaled technology delivery. The role focuses on turning strategy into practical, testable and technically considered product experiences ready for build.

About City Football Group

Founded in 2013, City Football Group is the world’s leading private owner and operator of football clubs, with a global network of teams united by a shared commitment to doing things differently. Beyond our clubs, we invest in football-related businesses and create partnerships that support the growth of the game and the communities around it. Our purpose is to empower better lives through football, and we are proud of the positive impact our clubs create locally and internationally.

About the product team

Within the Product team, the focus is on converting approved ideas into experiences that are clear, useful and ready for delivery. This position works closely with Product Managers, Technology Solutions and operational colleagues to reduce uncertainty early, test assumptions quickly and make sure product concepts are well defined before wider implementation begins.

What the role involves

The Product Designer will play a key part in shaping product concepts before they progress into scaled technology delivery. You will help convert approved strategy into journeys, prototypes and experience concepts that can be tested, refined and checked for early technical feasibility.

A major part of the job is making ideas easier to understand and more practical to build. You will develop wireframes, prototypes and interaction models, map customer journeys, and use user feedback, operational insight and performance data to strengthen concepts before they move into the build stage.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Technology Solutions, engineers and stakeholders across commercial, marketing and operational teams. By clarifying requirements and helping identify what is feasible, what needs adjustment and where development work is needed, you will improve collaboration and product readiness across the team.

What you need to bring

  • Hands-on experience designing digital products, user journeys or customer experiences in product, digital or commerce settings.
  • Strong capability in prototyping, journey mapping and validating concepts.
  • A solid grasp of user experience, interaction design and usability best practices.
  • Experience producing wireframes, prototypes and interface designs with appropriate design tools.
  • The ability to work with Product Managers, engineers and technology teams to shape early requirements and assess feasibility.
  • Clear communication skills, a structured approach to problem solving and comfort working through ambiguity.
