About the Role

Join Rolls-Royce in Bangalore as a Procurement Specialist contributing to a company committed to innovation and global impact. This role involves delivering high-value procurement outcomes aligned with our mission to power and connect the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve value creation through exemplary supplier performance management.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
  • Lead commercial negotiations ensuring dynamic, favorable contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships fostering mutual growth.
  • Spot and implement practical improvements enhancing procurement processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Develop and execute category strategies on a global scale realizing value and managing risks.
  • Manage strategic sourcing initiatives through the entire source-to-contract process, including RFx procedures and supplier contracts.
  • Expert negotiation skills for complex, high-value contractual agreements with a strong commercial understanding.
  • Proven success in supplier relationship management, driving upstream innovation and performance.
  • Competence in contract administration, risk assessment, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Proficient in procurement analytics, data visualization, and spend analysis using tools such as SAP, Coupa, and Ivalua.
  • Experience leading procurement process enhancements and change management to optimize workflows and adoption of new technologies.

Additional Desired Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong stakeholder management, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership in complex global environments.
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defence sector procurement regulations, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Solid digital literacy in procurement systems and analytical platforms.
  • A proactive mindset for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Leadership experience guiding and coaching procurement teams to foster high-performing cultures.
