Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive procurement processes for both infrastructure capital expenditure (Capex) and operational expenditure (Opex) categories.
• Lead sourcing and negotiations for categories including interior fit-outs, HVAC systems, cold storage rooms, lifts, conveyors, electrical, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), furniture, and other infrastructure-related areas.
• Manage Opex procurement needs encompassing annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), housekeeping, facility management, pest control, security services, and associated facility services.
• Focus on driving cost efficiency, value enhancement, and timely procurement while ensuring quality and delivery standards are met.
• Handle procurement related to repair and maintenance (R&M) of infrastructure assets by developing rate contracts and ensuring vendor availability for both breakdown and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to the entire procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle including purchase request validation, request for quotation (RFQ) management, bid evaluation, purchase order creation, invoice processing, and payment coordination in conjunction with finance and operations teams.
• Identify, assess, onboard, and nurture strategic vendor partnerships. Conduct commercial negotiations, vendor performance evaluations, and periodic business reviews. Develop alternative vendor sources to enhance competitiveness and ensure continuous supply.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as business units, project management, facilities, operations, finance, and legal to comprehend procurement needs and ensure timely execution of procurement activities. Serve as a reliable partner by aligning commercial considerations with business requirements.
• Guarantee compliance with internal policies, governance protocols, and audit mandates. Maintain thorough documentation of procurement processes, contracts, approvals, and related records. Support both internal and external audits and promote process adherence.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Brings at least 7 years of experience in infrastructure procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management roles.
• Has prior experience working within quick commerce, retail, or e-commerce sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing both Capex and Opex procurement categories with a proven history of cost optimization and effective vendor management.
