Key Responsibilities
- Create and oversee detailed work packages for restoration and on-site execution tasks.
- Coordinate planning efforts among the client, project team, and multiple EPC contractors to ensure alignment.
- Track overall restoration progress and performance metrics closely.
- Perform daily earned value analyses and assess project performance against objectives.
- Compile daily progress and performance reports for project leadership and client stakeholders.
- Manage and update the Level 1 Client Master Schedule comprehensively.
- Develop and maintain detailed Level 3 engineering schedules to support project milestones.
- Monitor engineering outputs through managing the Master Document Register (MDR) and Engineering Deliverables Status Register (EDSR).
- Track and report engineering progress in accordance with approved plans and schedules.
- Supervise procurement schedules, vendor activities, and timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Prepare procurement progress reports while identifying potential schedule impacts.
- Check and validate quantities within contractor progress submissions to ensure accuracy.
- Support the review process of payment applications through validating contractor reported progress.
- Evaluate contractor schedules, upcoming work plans, forecasts, and recovery strategies.
- Identify scheduling risks, constraints, any delays, and impacts on the critical path.
- Recommend corrective and recovery measures to safeguard project timelines and critical milestones.
- Collaborate across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to corroborate progress.
- Deliver precise forecasts, schedule analyses, and planning data to aid in project decision-making.
- Ensure all planning and reporting activities conform to project protocols, client requirements, and Worley’s standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related area.
- Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling within oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven background in senior or principal planning roles on complex EPC, brownfield, restoration, or site-execution projects.
- Competence in managing coordination among multiple EPC contractors and diverse project stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining Level 1 (master) and Level 3 detailed project schedules.
- In-depth knowledge of earned value management, progress tracking, forecasting, and schedule performance evaluation.
- Experience managing engineering document registers such as MDR and EDSR.
- Monitoring procurement plans, vendor documentation, and schedules for material delivery.
- Reviewing contractor progress quantities and aiding in the verification process for payment submissions.
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, reporting skills, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Advanced ability in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
- Proficient spoken and written English language skills.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time at the Yanbu project site in Saudi Arabia.
- Familiarity with EcoSys and Power BI is a plus.
- Possession of PMP, PMI-SP, AACE, or equivalent certifications is advantageous.
- Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is beneficial.
