Presales Solution Consultant

Role Overview

As a Presales Solution Consultant within the Application Development & Modernization unit at Malomatia, your primary responsibility will be to craft and present tailored software solutions for government and enterprise clients. You will serve as a strategic advisor and technical expert, collaborating closely with customers, sales, delivery, and architecture teams to design secure, scalable, and future-proof custom applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire presales cycle—from discovery sessions to solution design, technical demonstrations, proposal writing, and collaboration with sales and delivery teams.
• Function as a trusted consultant, leveraging expertise in custom software development, legacy system revitalization, cloud-native applications, mobile app development, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Work alongside sales to qualify and shape opportunities within custom application development and modernization sectors for government and enterprise clientele.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and transformation objectives.
• Translate customer demands into comprehensive high-level solution designs and technical proposals that align with architecture, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Lead technical conversations and deliver impactful solution demos, architecture reviews, and proof of concepts (PoCs).
• Craft technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and compliance documents; prepare tailored proposals and articulate business value clearly.
• Draft and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) related to custom app development and modernization services.
• Contribute to proposal and bid strategies, pricing inputs, and coordinate with partners as necessary.
• Stay current on industry technologies and models, including microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, API-first approaches, cloud platforms, AI, and low-code platforms such as Power Platform.
• Support market entry strategies, develop playbooks, and participate in enablement initiatives for application development services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Native or fluent Arabic speaker.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical presales, solution consulting, or architecture, ideally within system integrators or enterprise service providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering custom applications, with expertise in one or more technologies: Java, .NET, Python frameworks, low-code platforms, or cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Preferred: Practical experience implementing Data & AI solutions, including Microsoft Azure Data & AI, Copilot, or OpenAI technologies.
• Experience transforming legacy systems via refactoring, containerization, or API enablement.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration, workflow orchestration, and security best practices in application design.
• Proven ability to create technical presentations, architecture diagrams, proof of concepts, and proposal documents.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methods, DevOps processes, and multi-tier application architectures.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic languages.
