Role Summary
This full-time on-site position requires overseeing the planning and execution of production workflows to ensure orders are completed punctually and resources are efficiently allocated. The Production Planning Control (PPC) professional will liaise closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to monitor progress, update schedules, and adapt plans as needed to satisfy delivery commitments and customer demands. The role involves analyzing production metrics, identifying constraints, and suggesting enhancements to boost operational efficiency and minimize waste. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining documentation, reporting on production statuses, and facilitating transparent communication among internal teams and management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Production Planning and coordination to streamline manufacturing operations.
- Experience in managing production schedules, including planning, tracking, and revising based on real-time operational data.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret production information, predict needs, and assist decision-making processes.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with various departments and updating leadership.
- Prior background in textile or manufacturing PPC roles with understanding of fabric production is highly desirable.
- Competence in MS Excel and familiarity with production planning software; basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain fundamentals.
- Educational qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines provide an advantage.
- Attention to detail, readiness to work on-site in Ludhiana, and adherence to safety and quality protocols are essential.
