About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team in managing and maintaining plumbing infrastructure within gated community apartments. This full-time, on-site position involves ensuring the seamless operation of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems, along with addressing plumbing issues promptly to maintain resident satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
- Respond promptly to residents' plumbing complaints and resolve issues within the agreed turnaround time.
- Carry out regular inspections of plumbing components including pipelines, valves, pumps, tanks, and fixtures.
- Detect and repair leakages, blockages, and other system faults efficiently.
- Assist in executing preventive maintenance plans and respond to emergency breakdown situations.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major plumbing repairs when necessary.
- Maintain accurate daily records of work performed and materials utilized.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and site-specific standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess an ITI or Diploma in Plumbing or related trade certification.
- Demonstrated familiarity with residential plumbing fittings and systems.
- Experience working in gated communities, apartment complexes, or commercial buildings is advantageous.
- Skilled in plumbing installation and repairs, including fault diagnosis.
- Basic understanding of pumps and water distribution systems.
- Capable of working autonomously and handling emergency situations.
- Effective communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
Work Environment and Conditions
- This is a site-based role located at gated residential apartments.
- Shift or rotational duties may be required, aligned with site needs.
- Availability on-call for plumbing emergencies outside standard hours.
Preferred Candidate Attributes
- Prior experience servicing high-rise residential buildings.
- Knowledge of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), pumps, and underground pipeline systems.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this position ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 22,000.
