Placement Manager

Position Overview

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Placement Manager to be based full-time on-campus at the Kochi or Coimbatore campus. The primary objective of this role is to lead placement and internship activities for students enrolled in the university's online degree programs, specifically in Management and Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage placement drives and career fairs tailored to online degree students.
• Engage and support students through career counseling and sessions focused on employability skills.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to facilitate job opportunities.
• Coordinate with employers to ensure effective recruitment of online program students.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in executing student placement initiatives, ideally with online degree programs.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with industrial clusters, including knowledge of sectors and regional locations.
• Strong networking skills and willingness to travel as needed.
• Demonstrated capability to lead teams and also work autonomously.
