Role Overview

We are seeking an advanced physiotherapy clinical practitioner to operate within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Consultant Clinics specialising in designated orthopaedic areas. This role involves utilising advanced clinical reasoning to provide expert advice and support to both physiotherapy and broader clinical teams, whilst autonomously managing a caseload of highly complex patient cases referred to the service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive, autonomous assessments of complex patients presenting with multiple pathologies using advanced biopsychosocial clinical reasoning, expert evidence-based practice knowledge, and advanced rehabilitation skills.
  • Interpret and analyse clinical and non-clinical information, including sensitive or emotive data, demonstrating critical awareness of knowledge in orthopaedics and interdisciplinary fields.
  • Utilise advanced clinical decision-making to develop, guide, and support effective treatment pathways and rehabilitation plans, ensuring clear and consistent delivery.
