Physiotherapist (Entry Level)

Job Overview

We are seeking a physiotherapist to deliver both home-based and virtual physiotherapy sessions with a focus on enhancing patients' functional independence. The successful candidate will develop personalised treatment and exercise plans based on assessment findings, specifically tailored to the client's care level.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy interventions through home visits and virtual platforms.
• Interpret assessment results to create customized physiotherapy and exercise programs.
• Monitor client progress across various assessment areas, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Communicate clearly with clients and their families, translating clinical information into accessible language.
• Collaborate with Care Advisors to encourage client participation and adherence to prescribed exercises.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records to track progress and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach and assessment events as required.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT), including fresh graduates or those with up to approximately one year of experience.
• Demonstrates a sincere interest in geriatric care and promoting healthy aging rather than sports or orthopedic physiotherapy.
• Capable of conducting home visits throughout Bangalore, preferably with personal transportation.
• Possesses strong communication skills to effectively explain conditions and treatment plans to elderly patients and their families in simple, empathetic terms.
• Exhibits a patient and compassionate demeanor suitable for working with elderly clients and managing sensitive discussions.
• Adaptable to working in a startup environment where processes are evolving and flexibility is needed in shaping procedures.
• Comfortable conducting assessments and therapy sessions using video calls as the care delivery system is app-based and continuously developing.
