  • Edit and refine photos for distribution over web, social media, print, and email channels.
  • Manage video editing processes comprising color grading, audio enhancement, motion graphics, titling, and formatting for multiple platforms.
  • Ensure visual materials consistently align with Marlborough’s brand identity and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain and regularly update an organized digital asset library via the School’s digital asset management system, Canto.
  • Partner with various departments to strategize and produce content that supports broader communications objectives.
  • Assist in website visual refreshes and help track project milestones and deliverables within the Communications Office.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; preferred fields include Photography, Film, Visual Communications, or related disciplines; or equivalent education and professional experience.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in photography and videography, showcasing versatility across events, editorial work, and brand-related storytelling.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Prior experience in educational, nonprofit, or mission-driven environments is advantageous.
  • Familiar with digital asset management systems, with a preference for experience using Canto.
  • Proficient with Google Suite; knowledge of Finalsite, Asana, and Canva is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational talent with the capacity to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills paired with a team-oriented and community-minded work ethic.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in capturing and disseminating images, especially involving minors.
  • Availability and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends to cover school events.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage ranging between $26.50 and $36.00, approximating an annual salary between $55,000 and $75,000.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
