Performance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Performance Engineer skilled in diagnosing complex performance issues beyond the capabilities of in-house testing teams. The role spans multiple facets of Performance Engineering, including software lifecycle and architecture, performance validation, capacity planning, and application monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and customize Dynatrace agents and environments.
• Develop and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor application and infrastructure performance.
• Utilize Smartscape topology, distributed tracing, notebooks, workflows, and real user monitoring to optimize system performance.
• Conduct synthetic monitoring, manual tagging, manage maintenance windows, and handle alert configurations.
• Analyze performance data and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal user experience.

Professional and Technical Requirements

• Extensive experience in Dynatrace administration, monitoring, and managing performance environments.
• Proficient in application development using at least one programming language and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud environments, and application performance management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, DevOps methodologies, or Site Reliability Engineering practices is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

Additional Details

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years working with Dynatrace APM.
• Candidates should possess 15 years of full-time education.
• Certifications such as Dynatrace Certified Associate and Dynatrace Certified Professional are beneficial.
