Role Overview

The People team aims to optimize talent management through streamlined processes, with People Operations making it all run smoothly. This role focuses on architecting efficient workflows across the employee lifecycle—onboarding, offboarding, leaves, compliance, and more—transforming scattered processes into seamless and repeatable operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and document end-to-end employee lifecycle processes ensuring clear ownership and feedback mechanisms.
  • Identify inefficiencies within People operations and HR business partners' workflows, redesigning processes to save time and proving improvements with metrics.
  • Act as primary HRIS (Rippling) system administrator—configuring, integrating, and automating to eliminate manual tasks.
  • Create playbooks, templates, and self-service resources to empower HRBPs and managers to manage operational tasks independently.
  • Implement structured change management for people systems and processes, ensuring thorough testing and smooth deployments.
  • Manage compliance tasks including I-9 and E-Verify, state registrations, labor law postings, policy updates, records management, and readiness for audits.
  • Handle escalations involving complex employee matters crossing multiple systems.
  • Measure and report on operational metrics such as HRBP admin time, process cycle times, manual tasks, and system usage.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards, Recruiting, Benefits, and People Data teams to synchronize operations, systems, and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or related operational roles, preferably within high-growth tech or SaaS environments.
  • Proficient in HRIS administration, with experience in Rippling preferred; knowledge of Workday, BambooHR, or Personio also valued.
