Role Overview

This full-time position is based onsite in the Mohali district, focusing on managing payroll comprehensively. The Payroll Executive will handle all aspects of payroll operations such as gathering and verifying employee information, computing salaries, overtime, and deductions, and ensuring employees are paid promptly and accurately. Additional responsibilities include overseeing statutory compliance related to payroll, maintaining detailed payroll records, collaborating with finance and HR on compensation issues, resolving employee payroll inquiries, generating periodic payroll reports, and supporting audit and reconciliation processes. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve payroll systems and workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in payroll administration and processing techniques.
• Experience within the logistics industry strongly preferred.
• Expertise in payroll management and finance to ensure accurate and compliant compensation disbursement.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with employees and various departments.
• Background in payroll or finance roles, ideally within transportation or logistics sectors.
• Familiarity with payroll software and strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Understanding of statutory payroll regulations and applicable tax laws for the region.
• Educational credentials such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines are favored.
• Detail-oriented mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and high integrity in handling confidential data.
