Role Overview
The Partner Manager is responsible for managing the assigned partners' health, performance, and strategy within a given territory. This role is especially focused on pipeline growth, expanding market reach, and driving sales execution. The manager aligns partner strategies with ServiceNow’s priorities and collaborates closely with field sales, partners, marketing, and technical teams to ensure successful customer engagements and partner growth. This position is not limited to any specific product or solution but focuses broadly on partner ecosystem expansion and effective sales delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire partner lifecycle by creating strategic partner and go-to-market plans to grow sales pipeline and revenue.
- Support pipeline development and deal progression in work with field sales teams.
- Collaborate with partners to generate new business within current accounts, explore new markets, and secure new client logos.
- Develop joint marketing plans to foster co-selling and demand generation activities that lead to increased revenue.
- Provide guidance to partners on market expansion, regional growth, and new customer acquisition strategies.
- Work with Technical Partner Advisors to align sales strategies to ServiceNow's Routes to Market and coach partners on sales techniques.
- Conduct regular business reviews, governance meetings, and track key milestones.
- Enable and coach partners virtually and in-person while cultivating senior relationships and managing potential risks.
- Monitor performance metrics and readiness, promptly escalating issues to mitigate friction.
Qualifications and Experience
- A strong background in integrating AI technology into business processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including familiarity with AI-powered tools and automation.
- 5 to over 10 years of experience in partner management, alliances, or ecosystem roles.
- Expertise in driving partner-led growth by enabling partners to build pipeline, enter new markets, and execute effective sales motions.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with a decisive approach.
- Excellent executive-level communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate within matrixed organizational structures.
- Experience in designing and implementing go-to-market (GTM) strategies through partner ecosystems.
- In-depth knowledge of partner-led and co-sell sales methodologies.
