Oracle HCM Functional Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, especially US Payroll and Oracle reporting tools. This 12-month contract position based in Pune, Maharashtra offers remote or hybrid work modes with work hours overlapping US EST/CST timezones. Candidates should be available for immediate start or within 15 days’ notice.

Key Duties

• Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, and Absence Management, requiring proficiency in at least three.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design functional specifications, and document solutions.
• Perform configuration and gap analyses while advising on Oracle HCM best practices.
• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT), deployment, and post-launch activities including functional support and training.
• Implement and manage US Payroll processes covering earnings, deductions, cost allocations, tax setups, and payroll cycles.
• Ensure compliance with US HCM business operations and regulations, coordinating regularly with US clients.
• Create and sustain Oracle reporting outputs such as OTBI reports, BI Publisher templates, and dashboards.
• Manage Oracle HCM integrations through Oracle Integration Cloud, working with technical teams on inbound and outbound data flows.
• Configure and enhance Oracle Redwood UI features, supporting its adoption and customization.

Skill and Experience Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in Oracle HCM functional consulting.
• At least 3 years with US Payroll and US HCM practices.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, particularly any three of Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, and Absence Management.
• Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI, BI Publisher, and Redwood UI.
• Proficient in requirement gathering, functional configuration, stakeholder management, and support during UAT and SIT phases.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle HCM Cloud certification.
• Experience with HDL / HSDL, REST and SOAP APIs, Fast Formula, and HCM Extracts.
• Prior involvement in Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with US-based clients.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Holding an Oracle HCM Cloud Certification is preferred.
