Oracle Functional Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant to deliver expert functional support, implementation, and configuration for Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud modules. This role involves optimizing functionalities across Procurement, Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, Inventory, Cost Management, and Asset Lifecycle Management ensuring smooth Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 functional support for Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud applications.
• Support various SCM modules including Procurement, Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, Inventory, Cost Management, and Asset Lifecycle Management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional challenges quickly, maintaining system availability and meeting defined SLAs.
• Configure and maintain Procurement Business Units and manage procurement approval hierarchies utilizing BPM.
• Customize document styles, document delivery, and maintain supplier master data, including onboarding through the Supplier Portal.
• Address Purchase Order, Requisition, Receipt, and Invoice Matching issues effectively.
• Support inventory processes such as transactions, stock movements, cycle counts, and reconciliation, alongside managing Cost Management configurations and Inventory-to-Finance integrations.
• Oversee Procure-to-Pay business processes, collaborate in resolving issues with Oracle Fusion Financials consultants, and manage invoice matching and procurement workflows.
• Perform comprehensive configuration and maintenance of SCM modules, business rules, approval workflows, portal setups, and security settings.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI and BI Publisher, fulfilling operational and management analytics needs.
• Manage Oracle Integration Cloud based integrations, coordinate logistics and supplier system links, and support Oracle VBCS and APEX applications.
• Support quarterly Oracle Cloud release updates including impact analysis, UAT coordination, validation of enhancements, and ensure smooth production rollouts.
• Prepare detailed functional documentation, standard operating procedures, configuration documents, conduct knowledge transfer and trainings, and effectively liaise with stakeholders across business, IT, and vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or related fields.
• Minimum seven years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• At least four years of direct experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud.
• Strong background in Oracle Fusion Procurement module implementations.
• Proficiency in supporting Procurement and Inventory business processes and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
• Experience managing Oracle Cloud quarterly release cycles and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP environments and integrations.
