Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join BlueScope Distribution in Townsville, Queensland. This unit specializes in providing comprehensive steel and aluminium product, processing, and service solutions across numerous industries, enabling clients to complete projects on schedule and per specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire an experienced operations team to consistently achieve outstanding safety, quality, on-time delivery, and overall performance targets.
- Foster teamwork by ensuring staff collaborate effectively to enhance operational workflows continuously.
- Maintain rigorous inventory management in the warehouse, ensuring stock accuracy and control.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in operations or logistics settings.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures, systems, and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and direct cooperative teams.
- Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
