Operations & Logistics Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and strategic Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the full spectrum of operational and logistics activities. This role is accountable for ensuring efficient supply chain performance, improving workflows, optimizing inventory and distribution, and guaranteeing service excellence. The manager will lead daily operations, manage logistics activities, and drive the achievement of business goals through effective planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, warehouse, and distribution activities to maintain seamless service delivery.
• Supervise logistics teams and develop strategic transportation plans to optimize delivery networks.
• Coordinate inventory management and procurement to maintain accurate stock levels and supplier relationships.
• Evaluate supplier performance and manage external partners to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze operational metrics, prepare detailed reports and dashboards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Control operational expenses while maintaining high service standards and supporting digital transformation efforts.
• Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration between departments such as procurement, sales, customer service, finance, and warehouse functions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, health and safety standards, and quality management systems.
• Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, accountability, and innovation throughout the supply chain.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in operations, logistics, supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation planning.
• Proficient in developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support business development.
• Experienced in procurement, demand planning, supplier management, freight coordination, and distribution operations.
• Solid understanding of process optimization, performance management, quality assurance, risk management, and business continuity planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify inefficiencies and optimize workflows.
• Skilled in producing operational reports, performance dashboards, budget forecasts, and executive presentations with accuracy.
• Familiar with enterprise resource planning (ERP), warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), inventory software, business intelligence tools, and office productivity suites.
• Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and manage stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Competent in handling warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and managing customer fulfillment.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of health and safety laws, transportation compliance, customs regulations, environmental standards, and corporate governance.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments to meet operational objectives.
