Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist ensuring compassionate and high-quality patient care
  • Develop and contribute to the growth and success of the occupational therapy assistant program
  • Enhance clinical skills, professionalism, and leadership through collaboration, self-learning, and continuing education
  • Keep a valid state license and stay updated on occupational therapy and healthcare industry developments
  • Apply correct billing procedures and treatment delivery models to comply with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Deliver care aligned with treatment plans that achieve meaningful patient outcomes
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the care facility
  • Communicate effectively and document accurately with proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)

Qualifications

  • Completion of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited by ACOTE
  • Current valid Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
