Role Overview

The Montessori Teacher will lead children's educational and developmental activities within a Montessori classroom designed to promote independence, curiosity, and respect. Key duties involve preparing and maintaining educational materials and the learning environment, delivering Montessori-based lessons, monitoring and recording each child's progress, supporting daily classroom routines, and working closely with colleagues and families to support the overall growth of each child.

Qualifications and Skills

While Montessori-specific training or experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to ongoing professional growth, child welfare, and principles of inclusive, learner-centred education. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to establish positive relationships with children, peers, and families.
