About the Role

Speedy, the leading provider of hire equipment in the UK, is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Dublin depot team. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and assembling various industrial tools and lifting equipment to guarantee optimal operation and prompt service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical repairs, servicing, and assembly on power tools and lifting machinery.
• Ensure maintenance tasks prioritize operational efficiency and equipment availability.
• Coordinate with the team to support business goals and contribute to the company's ESG strategy, 'Decade to Deliver.'

Requirements and Skills

• Proven mechanical engineering background, preferably in equipment hire or a related engineering sector.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to work diligently under pressure and collaborate well within a team.
