This opening is for a Marketing/ Proposal Coordinator. It is a varied, growth-oriented position that touches many parts of the marketing function. The role may be based at several H&H office locations.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned proposal creation and coordination efforts from start to finish.
• Set up proposal timelines and compliance tracking tools, and keep them current.
• Facilitate local meetings for proposal planning, reviews, and post-submission debriefs.
• Support major pursuits, including high-priority national opportunities.
• Draft targeted messaging, winning themes, and differentiators tailored to each pursuit.
• Gather and review staff credentials, company experience, and past proposal content.
• Build and manage a central repository of proposal-ready materials.
• Maintain regional proposal assets such as resumes and project write-ups.
• Create, organize, and standardize content used in presentations.
• Regularly track websites for newly posted solicitation opportunities.
• Handle preparation and submission of prequalification packages.
• Assist with client programs, industry participation, and other business development activities as needed.
• Track current and upcoming opportunities from clients in the assigned region.
• Update the company’s Vision database with opportunities, clients, and contacts.

Requirements

• An associate degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in proposal development within the A/E/C sector is strongly preferred.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Interest in the engineering field and a willingness to continue learning through training and professional development.
• Comfort working collaboratively with a diverse marketing team in a highly cooperative environment.
• Experience with SF330, SF255, and similar state or federal form requirements is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and InDesign; familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on experience. For applicants in NY, NJ, and CO, the annual salary range is $70,000 to $90,000. The company also offers a professional workplace, a competitive compensation package, benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
