About Stem Health
Stem Health aims to revolutionize primary care by offering a proactive, membership-based service launching in Toronto in Fall 2026, with telemedicine services starting from March 2026. Their model provides members continuous care through a dedicated Care Team familiar with each individual's Health Story, supported by advanced diagnostics and both virtual and in-person care.
Role Overview
This is the company's inaugural full-time marketing position, responsible for overseeing all marketing activities including brand management, content creation, paid acquisition campaigns, website management, B2B sales support, and member communications. The role reports directly to the CEO and offers complete autonomy to develop and execute the marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute demand generation strategies targeting individual members and employer clients, managing paid acquisition on platforms such as Meta and Google including budgeting, creative direction, targeting, and performance analysis.
- Set realistic marketing targets and provide transparent reporting on leads, cost per lead, and conversion rates.
- Rapidly test and optimize marketing channels to identify and focus on effective tactics, while phasing out underperforming strategies.
- Design and implement referral and partnership programs that foster trust and complement paid marketing efforts.
- Maintain consistency and integrity of the Stem Health brand across all touchpoints including clinic environments, digital platforms, social media, email campaigns, print materials, and events.
- Create compelling, warm, and clear copy for advertisements, presentations, newsletters, and other communications.
- Manage content production for the company blog, social media accounts, and member newsletters to build engagement and convey the care model through relatable stories.
- Collaborate with clinical and product teams to clearly position health assessment services, membership tiers, and standalone offerings, and lead go-to-market strategies for new service launches.
- Support B2B sales teams by developing effective product briefs, FAQs, messaging guides, and pricing documents.
- Oversee the company website's structure, content, and conversion pathways to maximize visitor engagement and action.
- Select and administer a streamlined suite of marketing tools for CRM, email, analytics, and automation ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage external creative resources including agencies and freelancers to meet project needs.
- Report clearly and honestly to leadership on marketing metrics such as leads, conversion rates, acquisition costs, and ROI.
Candidate Profile
- 6 to 10 years of marketing experience, including a minimum of 2 years leading a marketing function or performing as a senior individual contributor.
- Proven history of driving demand generation that tangibly boosts revenue or membership growth, beyond merely executing campaigns.
- Hands-on expertise with paid advertising budgets on platforms like Meta and Google, with a strong focus on performance outcomes.
- Experience guiding creative work and collaborating with agencies and freelancers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing channels including website management, email marketing, paid ads, SEO, data analytics, and automation platforms.
- Sharp product marketing skills, able to distill complex healthcare offerings into messages that appeal to both executives and cautious new members.
- Background in healthcare, wellness, executive health, hospitality, or other premium trust-focused sectors, understanding the importance of brand integrity and respectful engagement.
