ملازمت کی تفصیل

About the role

Zavida Coffee Company has been building coffee experiences since 1980, with a long history of introducing flavored coffee to North America and growing into a brand sold through a wide range of channels, formats, and labels. The company serves customers online and in physical channels across North America and other markets.

The organization is hiring a Marketing Coordinator who is organized, inventive, and self-driven. This position suits someone who enjoys combining creative thinking with project coordination, works well in a high-energy environment, and wants practical exposure to marketing, product innovation, commercialization, trade shows, and brand building.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Innovation, the coordinator will help execute marketing programs that support brand growth, new product development, and customer engagement. The role involves close partnership with internal teams and outside partners to keep initiatives moving on time, within budget, and in line with company goals.

Trade shows and events

  • Review and assess trade shows, industry conferences, consumer-facing events, and sponsorship options that fit brand and business priorities.
  • Suggest event participation and activation approaches that strengthen visibility and improve engagement with customers and consumers.
  • Handle event planning and delivery end to end, including registration, booth setup, promotional assets, product samples, shipping, travel, and post-event summaries.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to define event goals, lead-generation plans, and engagement tactics.
  • Coordinate collateral, presentations, promotional items, and branded materials for meetings and industry events.
  • Measure event results, leads, engagement, and return on investment, then prepare reports on performance.
  • Represent the company at trade events, retail activations, and networking functions across Canada when needed.

Product innovation and commercialization

  • Assist with bringing new products to market, from initial concept through launch.
  • Partner with Product Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, Procurement, and Sales to move innovation projects forward successfully.
  • Support launch planning, packaging revisions, product positioning, customer-facing presentations, and internal updates.
  • Build and maintain timelines, milestones, and action plans so projects stay on track.
  • Coordinate approvals and cross-functional communication during the commercialization process.
  • Carry out market research and competitive review to spot customer trends, category openings, and new ideas.
  • Help create business cases, launch recommendations, and reviews of product and packaging performance.

Marketing administration and project coordination

  • Keep marketing calendars current for campaigns, trade shows, roadshows, customer programs, and product launches.
  • Create and manage project plans and Gantt charts to make deadlines, dependencies, deliverables, and approvals clear.
  • Monitor project outcomes, budgets, sales figures, ROI, learnings, and KPIs.
  • Support the marketing budget process, including purchase orders, invoice handling, vendor coordination, and expense tracking.
  • Oversee inventory and logistics for marketing materials, product samples, point-of-sale items, and retail displays.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, and summaries that help teams plan, align, and make decisions.
  • Organize marketing files, databases, project records, and process documents so information stays accurate and easy to access.
  • Help execute seasonal campaigns, promotions, customer programs, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, customers, and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications and experience

The preferred background includes at least 2 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, brand marketing, trade marketing, or another related role in the consumer-packaged goods sector. Experience on either the agency side or client side is considered an advantage.

A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a similar discipline is viewed as an asset.

Skills and working style

  • Strong organization and time management with the ability to handle several projects and deadlines at once.
  • Solid project coordination abilities and careful attention to detail.
  • Creative, solution-oriented thinking with a proactive mindset.
  • Good analytical ability to interpret information and draw useful insights.
  • Excellent spoken, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Basecamp, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or similar tools is an asset.
  • Professional judgment, reliability, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Customer-oriented attitude, eagerness to learn, and readiness to take initiative.
  • Bilingual English/French ability is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada for events and trade shows.

Work environment and benefits

  • Competitive compensation.
  • Hybrid arrangement with flexibility and collaboration.
  • Health, dental, life insurance, and employee assistance coverage.
  • Retirement Savings Plan with company contribution.
  • Paid vacation and personal days.
  • Complimentary coffee and employee product discounts/perks.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Company events, celebrations, and employee appreciation activities throughout the year.
  • Opportunity to contribute to product launches and innovation work.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional business teams.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where ideas are welcomed and contributions are recognized.
  • Supportive leadership focused on employee success.
  • Inclusive workplace built on respect, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to have a meaningful impact at a growing Canadian company with global reach.
