Key Responsibilities
- Design and program surveys that align with research goals, employing best practices to ensure clarity, logical flow, and minimize bias.
- Utilize popular survey platforms such as Qualtrics and Decipher for survey implementation with advanced functionalities like logic branching, piping, and randomization.
- Execute quality assurance processes to verify survey accuracy and ensure smooth respondent interactions.
- Process and clean data sets by coding, recoding, and setting up variables necessary for analysis.
- Generate structured crosstabs corresponding to analysis plans and business questions, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Detect and flag any anomalies or quality concerns within data sets.
- Perform statistical analyses based on predefined plans, primarily descriptive statistics to uncover significant trends and patterns.
- Validate analytical outcomes against hypotheses and identify unexpected findings.
- Assist in developing draft reports and presentations that summarize insights clearly and concisely with supporting visualizations.
- Maintain responsibility for managing project timelines, communicating risks promptly, and ensuring deliverables meet quality and deadline expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior researchers to refine research objectives and outputs, enhancing the clarity and actionable nature of findings.
Required Qualifications
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in market research or data analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with survey programming tools such as Qualtrics or Decipher.
- Knowledge of fundamental survey design principles and questionnaire drafting.
- Proficiency with Excel for data preparation tasks including pivot tables and crosstab development.
- Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS or R.
- Experience handling extensive survey datasets effectively.
- Skilled in creating insightful reports and data visualizations.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data and communication.
- Demonstrated capability in managing deadlines and proactive communication with stakeholders.
- Highly organized and accountable for deliverables.
- Ability to independently execute tasks within defined frameworks and translate data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced quantitative analysis methods like segmentation, regression, or weighting.
- Background in advertising, marketing, or technology-related research.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing, market research, consumer insights, or project management fields.
- Portfolio or work samples evidencing analytical capabilities and familiarity with research tools.
