Role overview

Porsche Cars GB is hiring a Marketing Advisor for Communications in Reading. The role focuses on planning, delivering, and improving brand and product content across several digital channels to help bring in new customers and strengthen loyalty among existing ones. It is a hands-on, highly creative position that calls for versatility, strong organization, and a sharp eye for detail.

What you will do

• Work with the Marketing Communications Manager to shape the Porsche Cars GB social media plan in line with Porsche AG Germany.
• Oversee and refine social media content together with an external agency.
• Help evolve the current platform approach and spot new channel opportunities.
• Keep track of developments and trends within the industry.
• Increase audience growth and engagement across priority local platforms.
• Maintain the UK content calendar so it stays inventive and aligned to wider goals.
• Expand the local content library by curating existing assets and creating new material.
• Support paid media activity alongside the Marketing Communications Manager.
• Use strong storytelling skills to identify brand-relevant stories and turn them into compelling content.
• Coordinate publishing activity with the Marketing Communications Manager.
• Assess campaign and platform performance through detailed analysis and use insights to improve results.
• Create and improve content-sharing processes with other business areas.
• Prepare and share monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with the external agency.
• Support live marketing at major events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and work with global teams.
• Assist the Retail team with social media and content work across the Porsche Centre network.
• Manage campaigns from brief stage through to reporting for product launches and brand communications.
• Act as a brand advocate, finding creative ways to communicate Porsche’s purpose and reach fresh audiences.
• Handle day-to-day communication with agency partners.
• Support national launch activity and Centre launch events when required.
• Process purchase orders and invoices, while keeping Communications team budget records up to date.
• Help with year-end reconciliation and related submissions.
• Regularly bring forward new ideas to ensure Porsche remains aligned with customer expectations and market trends.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing social media professionally.
• Excellent proofreading ability, with strong copywriting and copy-checking skills.
• Capability to juggle several projects at once and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and agencies.
• Proven experience in digital media buying.
• Background in the luxury sector or experience working with luxury products.
• A degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Sales, or another relevant Bachelor of Arts subject is desirable.
• A proactive, self-driven attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
• German language skills, spoken or written, would be an advantage.
