Overview

Bluebird Foods Ltd, part of New Zealand's heritage for over 70 years and leader in the Salty Snacks category, is seeking a Frontline Manager for the Potatoes/Multipack/Robots team to work the night shift in Wiri, Auckland.
This position involves leading a safe, motivated, and high-performing team to excel in safety, quality, productivity, and service within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to frontline teams, building an accountable, inclusive, and high-achieving culture.
- Enhance team engagement through daily meetings, recognition, feedback, and tailored development.
- Directly manage operational challenges while meeting objectives for safety, quality, cost efficiency, and service delivery.
- Promote and enforce a robust safety and wellbeing culture by adhering to policies and operational standards.
- Maximize labor efficiency, resource allocation, and shift performance to meet productivity and financial goals.
- Utilize data and continuous improvement techniques to identify optimization opportunities and sustain performance gains.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least three years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or production.
- Demonstrated success in delivering results under high-pressure and dynamic operations.
- Strong leadership capabilities in coaching, managing performance, and fostering engaged teams.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality departments.
- Knowledgeable in HACCP, GMP, and continuous improvement methodologies.
