Job description

Role Overview

This position, based in Canada, involves shaping broad talent strategies and partnering with senior leadership and HR teams to enhance employee engagement and business results. It centers on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and strategic HR initiatives within a global context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement company-wide talent strategies in line with business goals.
  • Lead and facilitate talent processes such as reviews, performance management, goal-setting, succession planning, and development planning.
  • Streamline talent practices to elevate the experiences of employees and leaders.
  • Participate in strategic HR and cultural initiatives focused on organizational transformation and future work models.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to roll out enterprise-wide programs effectively.
  • Create executive-level presentations and communication materials for senior leadership engagement.
  • Analyze data related to talent and culture, discern trends, and propose actionable improvements.
  • Support leadership reporting, strategic workforce analysis, and key initiatives.
  • Oversee complex projects involving multiple teams, priorities, and departments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least 7 years of experience in HR, talent management, strategy, organizational effectiveness, or management consulting; alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED with 14+ years relevant experience is acceptable.
  • Master’s degree preferred; over 10 years of experience in related fields is advantageous.
  • Strong presence and ability to influence senior leadership effectively.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to convert data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for executives.
  • Comfort in navigating ambiguous situations while delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational aptitude to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
