Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe System Programmer with a strong background in COBOL and JCL development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the investment domain, particularly in Mutual Funds and Stock Brokerage, supported by extensive experience in managing large offshore teams and engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee offshore development teams consisting of over 20 members.
- Collaborate effectively with senior client stakeholders including Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents.
- Manage stakeholder communications and ensure alignment with project goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development focusing on COBOL and JCL.
- Minimum of 5 years working within the investment sector, specifically related to Mutual Funds and Stock Brokerage.
- Proven leadership capabilities in managing sizable offshore teams.
- Excellent communication skills paired with effective leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
