Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight charges and commercial agreements with transport providers to reduce logistics expenditure.
• Coordinate with transporters to confirm vehicle availability and schedule dispatches accordingly.
• Ensure vehicles are positioned at the warehouse timely as per the planned dispatch timetable.
• Organize and monitor timely collection of materials from the warehouse.
• Arrange cargo bookings with transporters and ensure shipments follow specified schedules.
• Track shipments actively and address any transportation delays or issues promptly.
• Liaise with Warehouse, Sales, Purchase, and Accounts departments to facilitate smooth dispatch operations.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive transport-related documentation.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with transporters and logistics partners.
• Adhere to company policies and ensure observance of relevant transportation laws and regulations.

Compensation

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 20,000 to 25,000 INR.
