About the Role

As an essential member of the Hard Rock Cafe kitchen team in Berlin, your contributions are pivotal to the restaurant's overall success, even without direct guest interaction. The role encompasses versatile responsibilities across various kitchen stations including dishwashing, preparation kitchen, production kitchen, stock receiving, and pass areas.

Core Responsibilities

• Ordering and accepting deliveries of kitchen supplies
• Preparing recipes according to specification in both preparation and production kitchens
• Properly labeling, dating, covering, and refrigerating raw materials for production use
• Setting up and breaking down workstations plus additional tasks such as organizing and stocking preparation and production areas and the pass
• Maintaining clean and organized kitchen, pass, dishwashing, and storage areas
• Cleaning utensils, silverware, dishes, and operating dishwashing machines
• Adhering to hygiene and safety standards rigorously
• Time-sensitive replenishment of products and raw materials
• Engaging in recycling practices wherever feasible
• Comprehending incoming orders via order slips or electronic systems accurately
• Compiling orders with quality control and service standards in mind
• Demonstrating thorough knowledge of all products
• Managing group orders, extended preparation times, and special requests proficiently
• Serving food when required
• Communicating professionally with management, kitchen, and service teams
• Performing tasks that may involve bending, lifting, standing for extended periods
• Presenting a neat personal appearance and following uniform policies
• Maintaining calm and order in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and urgency
• Embodying positive and open attitudes towards guests and coworkers
