About the Role
Join Deloitte's Corporate Functions in the Procurement & Strategic Sourcing division, focusing on optimizing purchasing and sourcing activities for IT and technology services at both national and international levels. With a workforce of around 470,000 employees globally, Deloitte is looking for talented individuals to contribute to our service team's success. The position is available across major cities in Germany, including Leipzig.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial tenders, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement of external services and products within the IT and technology sector.
- Develop supplier management strategies and ensure alignment with organizational needs, especially for critical supply areas.
- Automate and monitor procurement processes for delivering optimal results to stakeholders.
- Analyze financial and procurement key performance indicators, drawing insights to inform decisions and future actions.
- Serve as the main operational contact for both internal and external partners, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in business administration or a similar field, or equivalent commercial vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk).
- Specialization or coursework in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or IT-related disciplines is highly advantageous.
- At least three years of substantial experience in IT procurement, ideally covering areas like digital workplace solutions, cloud/network infrastructure, or artificial intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative, assertiveness, quick understanding of complex contexts, and strong analytical and commercial skills.
- Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication; advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP MM or SAP Ariba.
