Crothall Healthcare is looking to fill a full-time Laundry Service role right away at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, Alabama. The position supports linen handling and laundry operations in a healthcare setting, with a focus on service quality, teamwork, and professional interactions.

Work schedule and location

The job is based at North Baldwin Infirmary, 1815 Hand Avenue, Bay Minette, AL 36507. Only online applications are accepted. The schedule is full-time and runs Sunday through Saturday with rotating weekends; working hours may vary and will be discussed during the interview.

What the role involves

This position is responsible for processing laundry services, including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. The work also includes supporting team operations and engaging politely and professionally with clients, customers, and coworkers.

Key duties

• Sort, wash, and dry linens in line with approved laundry procedures.
• Fold, count, and stack linens according to the required process.
• Pick up soiled linens and redistribute clean linens where needed.
• Move clean and dirty linen and related supplies to the correct storage and collection points.
• Deliver attentive customer service with a focus on detail and individual support.
• Check linens regularly for damage, wear, or tears and follow standard procedure for items that are no longer usable.
• Keep laundry rooms, both commercial and residential, clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned.

Experience and requirement notes

At least 1 year of prior customer service experience is required. Candidates must be able to carry out the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Some positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
