Your Role and Contribution
As Key Account Manager based in Queensland, you will be actively visiting sites across the state to engage with clients including Tier 1 miners, large manufacturers, warehousing facilities, health providers, and local safety retailers. Whether aiding product replenishment or addressing issues on site, you will be the primary liaison ensuring client needs are effectively met.
About the Sales Team
Within the Sales team, you will collaborate closely with top distributors and leading brands in the sector. The team prioritizes strong relationship-building and strives to deliver excellent outcomes for clients and partners alike. You will work alongside highly skilled professionals passionate about advancing safety solutions and committed to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Global Spill Control throughout Townsville, Mount Isa, Bowen Basin, and urban and regional Queensland.
- Develop and maintain relationships with safety officers, procurement personnel, and site/store managers.
- Execute restocking visits and proactively seek new sales and service opportunities.
- Report directly to the Queensland Sales Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in industrial sales, preferably involving safety, environmental, or technical products.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, effective in individual and presentation contexts.
- A proactive and resourceful attitude, demonstrating curiosity and the ability to uncover customer needs.
- Outstanding customer service orientation combined with accountability, initiative, and practical problem-solving capabilities.
