Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis, located onsite in Germany. This role involves working closely with cloud technologies to design and develop user-centric web applications, along with evaluating existing systems for compatibility with target architecture goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current systems, applications, and architectures for suitability against specified target architecture requirements.
• Design intuitive, user-centered web applications leveraging cloud computing platforms.
• Develop functional interfaces connecting various applications and business processes.
• Translate design concepts into functional prototypes and provide technical advice regarding implementation methods.
• Develop database structures and integrate interfaces between databases and systems to support documentation and decision-making processes.
• Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Document technical details of development stages thoroughly.
• Create and hand over detailed operations and development manuals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code methodologies, supported by at least two references.
• Minimum one year experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps fundamentals.
• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and the React/Next.js frontend frameworks for at least one year.
• Experience with backend development using TypeScript, Node.js, and express.js, substantiated by two references.
