About the Team

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support by maintaining IT infrastructure through first and second-level support acting as the main point of contact for colleagues and departments regarding all IT-related issues at the site
  • Offer technical support covering Microsoft client systems, telecommunications, printers, and PCs
  • Manage tickets by receiving, categorizing, and independently resolving incident and request tickets related to hardware and software
  • Maintain documentation by updating the ticketing system and creating technical documents and user manuals
  • Handle hardware lifecycle activities, including installation, setup, dismantling of workstations, preparation and installation of hardware/client systems, and managing IT assets (issuance and return)
  • Manage inventory by ordering hardware, overseeing warehouse stock, material control, and coordinating disposal processes
  • Conduct maintenance and inspections alongside departments and assist technicians with maintenance tasks

Qualifications

  • Preferably completed vocational or school education, or alternatively retraining as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in IT support or IT service roles
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware components, and Microsoft software
  • Strong team skills, effective communication, conscientiousness, ability to work in a structured and independent manner, with a pronounced customer service and consultation orientation
  • Willingness to work on-site as a contact person for colleagues on IT topics
