Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Documentation Manager (m/f/d) to join our customer team in Friedrichshafen. In this role, you will manage comprehensive document handling processes within a technically advanced aerospace environment. As the main contact for documentation and data management, you will support and optimize processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review internal documents to ensure compliance with templates and guidelines.
- Receive and examine external document and data packages.
- Distribute documents and data packages to internal teams, suppliers, and clients efficiently.
Candidate Profile
Essential qualities:
- Strong commitment to accuracy and consistent first-time quality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Process-oriented mindset with eagerness to follow and enhance existing procedures.
- Availability to work onsite full-time.
Desirable experience and qualifications:
- Ideally, one year of experience in documentation management within aeronautics or aerospace.
- Completed technical documentation training or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with Product Data Management systems (e.g., PTC-Windchill) or knowledge management tools like Confluence or Google Workspace.
Personal attributes:
- Systematic, accurate, and detail-oriented approach.
- Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize workload independently.
Additional valuable skills:
- Cross-disciplinary experience in configuration and documentation management.
- Experience using Airbus-specific tools is an advantage.
Special Conditions
This position requires obtaining a security clearance pursuant to the German Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz (SÜG), available only to EU citizens.
