Role Overview

The Junior Designer will collaborate closely with the Brand & Marketing department to support diverse creative projects for our hospitality portfolio. This role involves assisting with brand identity development, producing point of sale materials, social media visuals, presentations, and digital content. It offers an excellent environment to enhance creative skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with varied daily tasks.

Primary Duties

• Create visual assets for print, digital platforms, and social media channels.
• Assist in the conception and rollout of brand identities across multiple hospitality brands.
• Develop marketing materials including presentations, pitch decks, menus, flyers, posters, and in-venue point of sale items.
• Prepare final artwork suited for both print and digital production requirements.
• Work in synergy with designers, marketers, and other departments from idea development to final delivery.
• Generate ideas, mood boards, and conduct design research during creative phases.
• Ensure all designs comply with brand standards and maintain high-quality output.
• Keep abreast of emerging design trends, hospitality culture, and social media platform developments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Approximately one year of experience in design, either in-house, agency, or freelance, or a distinguished portfolio showing equivalent skills.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, typography expertise, and layout proficiency.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Excellent abilities in typography, layout, and visual communication.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to collaborate well within a team environment.
• Competent at handling multiple projects and adhering to deadlines in a dynamic workspace.
• Sound knowledge of artwork preparation for both print and digital outputs.
• Capable of articulating creative concepts through mood boards, research, and presentations.
• Strong passion for branding, design, hospitality, and current social media trends.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive and positive mindset.

Additional Desirable Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with WordPress or other website content management systems.
• Familiarity with animation or motion graphics using After Effects.
• Video editing capabilities.
• Knowledge of Figma design tool.
• Skills in photography, illustration, or image editing.
• Interest in leveraging AI-powered creative tools in design processes.
