Position Overview

Advantage Partners, Inc. is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their team in the United States on a full-time, onsite basis. This entry-level position is suited for recent graduates or professionals at the beginning of their career who are enthusiastic about data, trend analysis, and supporting business decision-making through insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, verify, and organize data from diverse sources, maintaining accuracy and uniformity.
• Analyze datasets to extract meaningful trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business improvement.
• Generate and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and data visualizations tailored for stakeholders and management.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of business intelligence reports and relevant performance metrics.
• Provide analytical support to enhance data-driven decision-making across operational, financial, marketing, and strategic projects.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track business outcomes.
• Perform ad hoc analyses as required to aid various business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate insights.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Assist in automating reporting processes and refining data collection methods.
• Document data sources, methodologies, and reporting protocols systematically.
• Keep abreast of advancements in analytics tools, techniques, and industry standards.

Candidate Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including use of formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data manipulation.
• Basic familiarity with SQL querying for data extraction preferred.
• Experience or exposure to data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills able to clearly present insights and findings.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
• Educational background including bachelor's degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline is preferred.
