Role Summary

This full-time Junior Analyst position is based in Dallas, Texas and combines office-based work with remote responsibilities. The role focuses on supporting data gathering, analysis, and reporting tied to affordable housing initiatives, financing programs, and overall organizational performance.

What You Will Do

The Junior Analyst will keep databases current, build spreadsheets and dashboards, assist with financial and program analysis, and handle administrative tasks that support senior team members. The position also includes reviewing project proposals, assisting with due diligence, tracking important metrics, deadlines, and compliance items, and contributing to team projects, process improvements, presentations, and written materials for leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should bring strong organization and time management skills, with careful attention to detail and the ability to handle several priorities and deadlines at once. Clear written and verbal communication is important, along with the ability to summarize information and present data in a concise way. Candidates should also have solid analytical and quantitative skills, including spreadsheet use, basic financial calculations, and data validation. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic Adobe Acrobat tools is expected. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently and with others in a hybrid setting, plus initiative, dependability, and sound judgment. Interest in affordable housing, community development, public finance, or similar areas is preferred, and prior internship or entry-level exposure in these fields is an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, public administration, urban planning, business, or a related area is required, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
