Junior Accounting Manager (m/w/d)

Role overview

Matera is looking for a Junior Accounting Manager who enjoys working with bookkeeping and wants to join the Berlin team. The position is based in the office with flexible hybrid arrangements, and the start date can be immediate or within the next 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage the bookkeeping for customers and receive structured onboarding training when you join.
• Transfer accounting results into the Matera platform and set up each account according to the individual needs of the customer.
• Provide customers with a clear summary of their current bookkeeping status and explain where they stand.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to help improve the product together with the product and tech teams.

Requirements

• You enjoy working with numbers.
• You work carefully and pay close attention to detail.
• Initial experience or knowledge in accounting is an advantage.
• You can communicate confidently in English and have a good command of German.
