Jio Fiber Associate

About the Role

Reliance Jio is seeking a committed and technically adept Jio Fiber Associate based in Ludhiana, Punjab. This role involves the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of Jio Fiber broadband services with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and activate Jio Fiber broadband connections at customer locations.
• Perform fiber optic cable laying, routing, and splicing when necessary.
• Configure and set up Optical Network Terminals (ONT) and routers.
• Identify and solve network connectivity problems efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair faults as needed.
• Address customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed daily records of service and installation activities.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery with minimal disruption.

Eligibility and Qualifications

• Mandatory education includes ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or Networking, or a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecom Engineering.
• Preference for candidates with 6 months to 2 years’ experience in telecom or broadband services; however, fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of fiber broadband technologies.
• Familiarity with router setups and LAN/WAN network configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in field environments.
• Good communication skills and aptitude for customer engagement.

Additional Information

• Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is preferred.
• Knowledge of Ludhiana’s local geography is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules when necessary.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges up to ₹16,000, with an expected pay between ₹10,000 and ₹12,000 per month.
